A Stem Cell procedure being done in other countries across the globe may be proving to help children born with Cerebral Palsy. The procedure collects stem cells from the patient's bone marrow, which is then processed, checked for quality and quantity and then reinjected back into the patient. The hope is that the reinjected stem cells will aid in the regeneration of damaged tissue. Two boys from Denver, Dominic King and Harrison Spiers have both experienced improvements after having the procedure performed in Germany. To read more about their story, visit www.denverpost.com.
