Pilot Negligence Caused Crash

The family of a Florida man killed in a 2008 plane crash has filed a lawsuit accusing the pilot of negligence. According to the lawsuit, David Castle should have aborted the flight from the Bahamas because of severe weather conditions in the area. The plane reportedly exploded in mid-air while traveling to Florida, according to witnesses. The lawsuit seeks damages from the pilot’s estate and Bell Aircraft Sales & Service. Woman Paralyzed After Turbulance

Sylvia Tena got out of her seat to use the restroom on a flight from Houston to McAllen, Texan and ended up paralyzed.  The plane suddenly dropped, sending Tena into the ceiling in the restroom, breaking her neck and back.  Tena maintains that she was never warned to stay in her seat during the flight.  For the full story, visit http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/30938294/


Scores Killed as Indonesian Plane Slams into Java

Medical Helicopter Makes Emergency Landing After Bird Strike

A Med Evac Helicopter made an emergency landing at Centennial Airport this morning after a bird strike caused a grapefruit sized hold in the helicopter's windshield.  No injuries were reported and the helicopter is currently being repaired.

 NTSB Reports that Maintenance Led to Fire in 2007 Emergency Landing
